About Our Crew

This film marks the beginning of our journey in storytelling and in over four years of tireless effort, our small but committed team poured their skills and hearts into every frame, ensuring authenticity and excellence, whilst constantly learning and striving to increase our quality and experience. From capturing Australia’s rugged beauty to crafting unforgettable performances, this film is a testament to their talent and perseverance.

Jude Arthur

Director/Michael

Jude Arthur is the director of Black Cross Studios and Land of Conflict, as well as holding the role of Michael O'Flynn, the hot-headed and rather impulsive member of the Irish trio.
Having done both acting and directing since the age of 9, Jude has been trying to learn the skills it takes for good movie making, constantly seeking to increase in quality and experiences; now he is very excited and eager to see how well his first big production does.

Samuel Arthur

Assistant Director/Nicholas

Samuel Arthur plays the role of Nicholas Chancey, the cheerful and rather sneaky member of the Irish trio.
Samuel is Jude's right-hand man and and has been with him from the very start in the journey through movie-making, helping through experience to form the teamwork relationship which makes good productions possible. Jude could not possibly hope to move forward in movie-making without Samuel's assistance and skills.

Chantal Arthur

Camera Manager

Chantal Arthur is the main camera manager of Land of Conflict.
Although not very interested in movie-making as a whole, Chantal is always ready to step in to film for Black Cross Studios, yet never wishes to appear on camera. However, she can be persuaded if necessity arises only to fill in a little role when they need her, and she did so in Land of Conflict; who can spot her in the background of a scene in the movie?

Benedict Sutherland

Fr. Therry/ Daniel

Benedict Sutherland stars two main roles in Land of Conflict as he holds the lead role of the historical priest, Fr. Therry, as well as playing Daniel Burns, the cautious and clever member of the Irish trio.
Benedict proves the dedication the team puts into the productions as he poured many hours of effort and time into this movie, as well as stunningly performing his two different roles in such a way that renders it hard to believe they are both played by the same actor.

Noah Harris

Wentworth

Noah Harris plays W.C. Wentworth, the distinguished English gentlemen and historical character, as well as filling in for some extra minor characters such as the many needed police officers.
Having been almost always on hand at short notice, he has helped the team out of many a tight spot when they had last minute setbacks with actors and unfilled roles, small but necessary, on top of doing an amazing job of his main role.

Tim McAuliffe

Darling

TIm McAuliffe holds the short but necessary role of Land of Conflict's main antagonist, Governor Ralph Darling.
Tim is an actor of good skill who excels at playing the villain, which he does so amazingly in Land of Conflict, as he totally smashes the task of playing the villainous governor. A good lover of early Australian history, and a patriotic lad of Irish blood, Tim welcomed the role in this movie, and was only too pleased to portray the English governor as evilly as he could.

Matthew Arthur

Philip/Blackstep

Matthew Arthur plays the cowardly and amusing Philip McKernan, as well as the over zealous and hateful Major Blackstep, both roles of which he plays splendidly, and will make the viewer cry or laugh, or both.
As well as being a skillful actor, Matthew is also a major member of the team through his know-how and abilities, and is highly responsible for the advancement of Black Cross Studios to where it is now, and hopefully where it will be.

Blaise Arthur

Francis

Blaise Arthur holds the role of Francis McCallister, the kind-hearted and gentle farmer, as well as filling in for many an extra role, like the police commissioner.
Blaise is the youngest member of the team so far, and has been since he was about 2 years old; constantly playing multiple roles all his life, he has the ability to play any actor put before him, and does so many time in Land of Conflict. Who can count the numerous roles he fills in this movie?

Adrian Robinson

Fr. McLaren

Adrian Robinson plays the role of the heroic Irish priest, Fr. McLaren, and holds the lead role in one of the movie's biggest scenes.
The team having found themselves in a spot without enough actors, Adrian came in at the request of the director, and turned the tables of what could've been a flopped scene into the epic scene it is now, as he silently and skillfully plays the role of the character who was such an ambiguous concern for a lengthy period.

Augustine Cotter

Patrick

Augustine Cotter plays the character of the Irish sailor, Patrick McDough, the only role he plays in Land of Conflict, yet one of the most important portrayals necessary to this production.
Having assisting in the screen-play of Land of Conflict, as well as perfecting the role he plays, Augustine is another example of the dedication the team poured into the movie, as he performs in one of the movie's most heart-pulling and dramatic scenes.

Alexander Arthur

Policeman

Alexander Arthur steps in to play a few of the necessary English policemen, and even made it to play one of the high ranking officers.
Having more skill in being a joker than an actor, Alexander turns what could be a short scene into a long yet amusing session, thus rendering him a good asset to morale, even though it would be an unwise decision to give him a major role in any production for long periods of time. However, he is a life saver for much needed small roles and helped get the team out of some tight spots in this film's production.

Charles Borchard

Policeman

Charles Borchard holds the role in this movie as one of the leading English officers, as well as playing the right-hand policeman to Alexander's character.
Having skills in both acting and movie-making, and being English by birth, Charles slotted right into Land of Conflict before its completion and plays a stunning role in one of the movie's most important scenes as a British officer. Charles' only one line to his character's role, yet it is one of the most important lines in the movie, and he delivers it with the perfect precision it needed.

Darius Modoo-Loy

Policeman

Darius Modoo-Loy popped into the movie for a few scenes as he plays many different English officers, and even making it up to a high ranking official.
Knowing where to find a good time, Darius joined the team in many different scenes and many different roles. Whether it be a wood chopping Irishman, a sharpshooting officer, or even an unfortunate policeman destined to die, he played it well and held nothing back. Like Blaise, he is in numerous scenes and it would be interesting to see who is in more scenes as just an extra.

Hannah Petrizzi

Cameo Extra

Hannah Petrizzi graced Black Cross Studios with her presence as she cameo-ed as an extra in one of the most important scenes in the movie.
Being the director of St. Genesius Films, as well as possessing skills in acting which can be seen in her movies, and now ours, her role was welcomed and the team was honoured to have her play in our production. Even though her role was small, she enjoyed acting in Land of Conflict and the director is very happy to have her name in the credits.

Jude Petrizzi

Cameo Extra

Joining the cast is yet another member of St. Genesius Films, as Jude Petrizzi plays one of the policemen in the same scene which features Hannah.
Like Hannah, he has the skills of an actor, also to be seen in their movies, and he slots right into his role well, as well as helping the team out in one of the most important scenes in the movie. He was welcomed into the role and helped turn a hard scene into a fun time and the memory it is to everyone involved now.

Jason Daly

Policeman

The endless necessity in Land of Conflict was roles for policemen, and Jason Daly helped to fill in one of those roles.
Having high respect and eagerness to assist in Black Cross Studios' productions, Jason joined the team and assisted with both his know-how and acting abilities. Even though he only performs in one scene Jason managed to pull off one of the most villainous facial expressions in the entire movie, and his small role of a policemen holds great value in Land of Conflict.

Christina Arthur

Farmer's Wife

Joining the cast for a role in the movie comes Christina Arthur, who helps by filling in the role of a farmer's wife.
Yet another Arthur in the production, she is Matt's wife, as well as the older sister to Adrian Robinson, and was happy to play in Land of Conflict for a scene or two to help out in some of those small roles which may be minor, but very necessary.

Velvet Favretto

Extra

Stepping into the movie comes Velvet Favretto, who plays beside Hannah Petrizzi in her cameo scene.
With as many roles needed for this scene, Velvet was only too happy to join the party and like many another actor, shares in the memories of a long yet enjoyably produced scene, which is now one of the most epic and important scenes in the movie.

Ursula Arthur

Extra

Ursula Arthur plays a few different minor characters in Land of Conflict, all of which she played stunningly well.
Like Chantal, Ursula is always on standby to assist with filming or acting in a production, but unlike Chantal, she prefers to act than be behind the camera, and so between them, they make a good team to assist whenever it is necessary.
